I want to replace a missing tooth with a bridge. What bridge material is the most durable?

Depending on how many teeth involved and how many units, best dental bridge material is zirconia up to 6 units, if more teeth are involved still the gold standard is porcelain fused to metal, (gold) is the material of choice, as it is for severe discoloration of teeth due to metalic post, or severe discoloration!

For most patients, the newer ALL Ceramic materials - non-metalic - work very well and are fairly esthetic. With some specific applications, the former porcelain to Metal fixed bridge may still need to be considered, dependent on the length of the bridge. Our patients mostly prefer the ALL "white " ceramic option most. And over time, these restorations have held up. All our patients are given a soft occlusal guard after their treatment is completed to help mitigate excessive forces during work outs or sleep. Good Luck!
