Hi,

There are many things that caused muscle inflammation. Certain medication can cause this, overuse of muscles can cause this, drugs can cause this and other muscular conditions.
There are different causes for muscle inflammation, most common one is strain and sprain. But  each patient is different and needs to be evaluated by a physician.

Muscle inflammation can be caused by many things. New challenges to the musculoskeletal system within a workout are meant to break down muscle to promote repair and respiration for strength gains, which is initiated through the inflammatory response. Injury will also elicit an inflammatory response for healing. It is important to know inflammation is a normal response in the body, and it is necessary for healing and repair. However, chronic inflammation is not normal.
