Musculoskeletal is the organ system consisting of your muscles and your bones. Whatever your ailment it is an ailment of this system
Hey there! Musculoskeletal refers to the muscles and bones. So what your physician wrote means that he/she was assessing or maybe recommending treatment for your muscles and/or bones. For example if you sprain an ankle, or strain your back, get neck pain, etc that is part of the musculoskeletal system. Hope that helps! -DMH
The best way is to call your physician to ask him or her what he or she means. It depends on what your physician found on your exam.

Musculoskeletal is just a simple medical term used to describe something related to the muscle or bone and or ligaments. Good example is when a patient strains their back and has some low back ache with moving . Notes might say something like "musculoskeletal back injury" Hope this is helpful. Dr T/Guardiant Health
