Several different types of foods can increase the acid production in the stomach and worsen your acid reflux. These include very spicy foods, greasy and fried foods, drinks with caffeine and alcohol.
High-acid foods should be avoided as much as possible. Please check online for a list of high-acid food items.
Foods with citrus like oranges, sour foods, spicy, oily, and hot food.
It will vary from person to person, but in general chocolate, coffee (caffeine), and peppermint are traditionally worse for heartburn. Also, larger and higher calorie meals promote more acid reflux because the stomach empties slower.
