Could be you were not treated long enough, or the organism is resistant. Make sure your doctor has the sensitivities and has the right antibiotic. Non-pharmacological would include cranberry juice, azo. You may need a renal ultrasound.
We can do a urine culture to identify the organism causing the infection and then use antibiotics according to culture results.
1. Is it really an infection. Not all symptoms associated with urination are infectious
2. Are there other vaginal, rectal or other pelvic sources of irritation or pain
3. If it is UTI reasons it may not clear include problems with bladder drainage or resistant
Hello,
First all we need to find out the cause for kidney infection. Need to rule out the obstruction in urinary system. Need to make sure patient is on antibiotics to which causative agent is susceptible.
Thanks
