What home remedies can aid digestion?

I have an issue with my digestion as it takes a long time for my food to get digested and it makes me feel bloated. I would like to know if there are any home remedies that I can use to promote healthy digestion.

Bloating, especially after eating, is often caused by carbohydrate malabsorption. Reducing carbs in the diet usually helps. Try the low FODMAP diet. We lack the enzymes to digest a lot of carbs and there are no home remedies to treat this. The best solution is to lower carbs in the diet. The enzymes that you can by at a nutrition store are not the ones that help with carbs.
That is a very general question and may be due to multiple reasons, especially type/amounts of diet, you can try for some time products like ginger, peppermint oil, aloe vera, all of which help. Add probiotics as well. If that does not help, you may need to be evaluated.
You may want to discuss and review your diet first. A lot of foods can lead to symptoms, so review your diet carefully and make any necessary changes first. High fat diets, large meals, or spicy meals should be eliminated to see if symptoms improve. Try avoiding dairy or use lactaid products, for example. Food allergies should be considered as well as acid reflux or other serious GI disorders.
