Internal Medicine Questions Infectious Disease Specialist

What infection do I have?

The other day I woke up with canker sores all in my mouth, tongue, cheeks, and a very sore throat. I can hardly swallow my lymph nodes are swollen the size of golf balls, I noticed a rash on my bottom that has now turned into sores, my stomach is killing me at the top part at my rib cage in the middle, I have a low grade fever and cough now also. I have a history of bad MRSA and a few hospitalizations....what could this be what do I need to do?

This is something you should have evaluated in urgent care or in your doctor’s office
A viral infection is a possibility. This is best addressed by a PCP or infectious disease specialist.
