What is causing my leg cramps?

I have leg pain and calf muscle cramps when I walk.

Male | 69 years old
Complaint duration: calf muscle cramps when walking
Medications: blood pressure , heart , cholesterol , depression

Could be lack of electrolyte fluids.Try drinking something like Gatorade 1 to 2 hours before your walk.
There could be several reasons for your cramps. High on the list would be vascular disease (claudicatioin) or nerve compression (spinal stenosis causing pseudoclaudication).

You should probably see your doctor about that there’s several causes for leg cramps for walking the most serious one would be neurogenic claudication. But you may also have qualification from atherosclerosis of the major arteries to the leg. You should mention this to your cardiologist.
Good evening. Cramps can occur for many reasons. Most common are being out of shape, claudication which is pressure on nerves ( most likely back) or vascular (arteries in leg). You should discuss this with your doctor and pretty easy to work through possible causes. Good luck.
Poor circulation or pinched nerves in you are high on the list. Your need to see a spine surgeon and a vascular surgeon to start.
