Mostly a benzodiazepine but it depends on what kind of drug she is on and or other street drugs
This depends on the severity and frequency of panic attacks. For occasional panic attacks, a rescue medication can be used such as hydroxyzine or low dose benzodiazepine. If the panic attacks are daily, severe, and associated with generalized anxiety, the treatment of choice would be an antidepressant. Therapy can also be an option to develop coping strategies to help with anxiety/panic attack reduction.
