It depends on the actual diagnosis. Heal pain can either be Achilles tendinitis or it could be plantar fasciitis. I preferred to inject plantar fasciitis with either Cortizone or PRP I prefer to use therapeutic modalities for Achilles tenonitis or PRP injection.
Orthotripsy. High intensity ultrasonic wave treatment, not radial eswt, which is physical therapy. No other procedure compares to this 1 time treatment for the resolution of plantar fasciitis or achilles tendonitis. No surgery, no time off work or activities. Not covered by insurance but worth the money to get you back to your normal routine in days.

Hi! I would make an appointment with a podiatrist to find out what the cause of your pain is. Usually, lack of stretching, foot type, improper shoes or supports are the culprits.
depends on the quality of life disrupted, pain symptoms, location, size, foot type. etc. best to consult with a podiatrist.
Hello, Thank you for your question. We you have to evaluate you and take foot x-rays if needed. Please call our office 973-817-9577 or on our portal drtotten.com for an appointment.
Thank you
Proper stretches, icing, proper shoes but it should be evaluated by a healthcare professional. There are other conditions that can cause heel pain besides heel spurs.
A spur is really a radiographic artifact of a ligament injury called plantar fasciitis. I have written a great deal about heal pain and plantar fasciitis on this site. Check out my responses.
The heel spur may not be the cause of pain. The only way to remove a spur is surgery. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle specialist (Podiatrist) for evaluation and treatment options.
