“What is the best way to help an obese person?”
My friend has obesity and I want to help her. What is the best way to help an obese person?

Have her do some routine blood test to find out she has hypothyroidism. May be she has slow metabolism. After basic blood work have her see a Doctor who has expertise in weight loss. We do have weight loss programs in our office.
Do not shame them, but explore any stress, or anxiety, and help treat the underlying cause. Also promote calorie control and healthy diet practices.
