OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

What is the likelihood of pregnancy?

A few months ago like 2 months ago I had sex, drunk, and unprotected and I have always been scared that I am pregnant. I took 2 pregnancy tests and 1 came back positive. I have been so scared since so I have just left it….I should’ve gone to a doctor. And now last Saturday I had sex again drunk and unprotected and have been told by my partner that he did ejaculate In me. I don’t know what to do as I can’t afford a test and I am too scared to go to the doctor. If I take a test and come back negative perfect I’m not pregnant with the first guy but if I’m pregnant with my partner that won’t show up yet…I’m really scared.

I recommend scheduling an appointment to be evaluated. You can schedule an appointment with one of our providers at Henderson Women's Care. www.hendersonwomescare.com or call (702) 847-6252.
You can get free pregnancy tests in many places. Your area should have organizations providing free tests. You can google free pregnancy tests around me for a few options. Planned parenthood and your local health department are also other places to start. In addition, you can get very inexpensive pregnancy tests at the dollar store.
For you, there are very important things you should consider:

* the use of contraception or birth control. Contraception like an IUD, nexplanon, or depo injections does not require you to take or use something daily/frequently so the chance of forgetting is low
* The use of condoms to prevent the transmission of STDs. If you're having unprotected sex, not only can you get pregnant but you can also get an std. HPV is a virus that is spread through sex and can cause cervical cancer. There is a vaccine to prevent this.
* Excessive drinking or any alcohol/drug intake at such a young age can put you in harmful positions and also have a negative impact on your health and growth.

Going to planned parenthood or your local health department for help and assistance would be an amazing opportunity to address all of these points: starting birth control, getting condoms, getting STD tested and vaccination for HPV, and talking to someone about alcohol or drug use. I encourage you to take the right steps in helping you be the best you can be.

Now two months after the first encounter two positive tests indicate that you are probably pregnant by the first guy. deal with a possible existing pregnancy. Go to a doctor. you can handle anything that comes your way. Don't fear.
You should go to a well women clinic for a check-up. Most of the time it is free.
