The best toothpaste is the one attached to an electric toothbrush to remove the plaque that causes receding gums. There is a benefit to all toothpastes, especially with fluoride included or calcium phosphate. No toothpaste is a cure for receding gums. See your dentist for specific recommendations.
There’s really no one toothpaste better than the other for receding gums. Receding gums is a sign of trauma and/or age. The best a toothpaste can do is to keep the newly exposed tooth structure clean and fortified. That being said, any common toothpaste will do the trick.
