There is not one that is really best. A great deal depends on diet, technique, and flossing.
Honestly, the one you will use 3 times a day brushing that has fluoride in it. I would recommend a fluoride mouth rinse or a prescription fluoride toothpaste to use 1 time a day as well. Watch your dietary intake of sugars, carbs, energy drinks, coffee/soda/wines.  See your dentist regularly, at least 2 times a year, or every 6 months for a cleaning.
You can go to your dentist and they can prescribe a toothpaste with higher fluoride. Or a Rinse. Or the issue may be dry mouth, or not flossing we sell Cocofloss. Sometimes patients have to come in for hygiene more than twice a year. We have some patients, prone to cavities, who come every 2-3 months. There are a lot of options that your dentist can help you with.
Most any commercially made toothpaste that contain fluoride will suit your purposes to help your oral health and prevent cavities. You also need to floss so that you can clean between your teeth with your brush cannot reach. If you are very cavity prone you may also want to use a fluoride containing mouthwash.
All toothpaste with fluoride are good for cavity protection.
You can use toothpaste that has Stannus Fluoride or Sodium Fluoride in them.  You can ask your dentist to prescribe you a toothpaste that has a higher Fluoride content.  In reality, however, studies have shown a toothpaste is not necessary to clean teeth.  Thoroughness is what counts in brushing and flossing.
