Why does it feel like my contact is scratching my eye?

I am a 23 year old female. I want to know why does it feel like my contact is scratching my eye?

Your contact lens may be torn or you may not be producing enough tears to keep the contact lens “floated” on your eye properly. Add artificial tears and see if the sensation goes away. If it does not then keep the contact out and schedule an appointment with your prescriber.
Recheck the fit. Remove the lens and check with the prescribing doctor.
There are many reasons for this question. The most common is that your eyes are just dry and need more lubrication. If that is the case then you need to work up to determine why it is dry. She may have a contact with a slight tear in it. You may also have a contact that it’s fitting in properly and sticking on your I sort of grabbing it.
