Neurologist Questions Headache

Why does my head have pain around noon?

I am 36 years old and I recently delivered a baby. I have however been suffering from severe headaches around noon daily since I delivered. Is it normal or could it be something serious?

If there was nothing complicated about your delivery, I doubt it is serious. But you will need a neurologist to sort it out. It could be a number of things from an unusual migraine from stress to a post epidural headache that will require treatment. Start with your obstetrician, who knows your case, to get pointed in the right direction.
It is difficult to respond to your inquiry without more detailed history, however due to the timing of your symptomotology dietary influence is a possibility. If you are a migraineur there are several foods that may trigger your headache ie. caffeine overuse or withdrawal.
It could be tension headache or migraine. You would benefit from neurological examination to make sure things are ok.
Have your BP and UA checked, you can get postpartum pre-eclampsia. Recommend you see your OB, and if the headaches persist, get referral to Neurology.
