I'm assuming you don't have any other issues besides high blood pressure, and if that is so the best foods for you are, a variety of vegetables, whole grains, fruits, nuts, and seeds. Also, you should avoid sodium intake. Foods high in sodium are usually fast food, packaged/canned foods, deli meats, condiments, and sauces. Look into the DASH diet. I would highly recommend it for you.
I'm totally all natural cures as Mother Nature has prepared for us. I myself only ever eat the plain old Garden Mint. Try to get the big leaves, pick from the plant rinse under the tap & chew it slowly & swallowing as you will. Blood pressure can be very high & by eating Garden Mint as often a day as you wish...& every day in one week it will be low...then regulate it by three times a day & keep it at that. You won't be sorry you were lucky enough to get my advice.
All the best & enjoy Christmas.

For high blood pressure many think of cutting sodium but potassium works in opposition to sodium so focus on adding foods high in potassium, such as avocados, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, wild-caught salmon, dried apricots. Also, make sure you are drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of plain water each day. Dehydration can lead to high blood pressure and that's an easy fix.
