Surgeon Questions pancreatitis

What are the black dots all over my body after my gallbladder surgery?

I recently underwent a gallbladder surgery for acute pancreatitis. After the surgery, I have black dots that are appearing all over my body. What could these be?

Consult Endocrinology and Functional medicine.
It could be a number of things going on. If it’s all over the body it could be an allergic reaction. If it’s on the abdomen it could be due to bleeding or bile leakage. You should contact your surgeon.
How long has it been? Are the dots, pigmented skin or small hemorrhages called petechiae? Did your platelet count drop after surgery?
