Can a dentist remove coffee stains?

I am a 39 year old female and I have coffee stains on my teeth. Can a dentist remove coffee stains?

That being said, it is important to distinguish if it is a coffee stain that you see or not. This would be a good question at prior to your next dental cleaning. There are a number of stains that a dentist cannot remove.

The best way to remove coffee stains or any other tooth stains is to have a dentist make custom fitting trays that precisely fit the teeth. A carbamide peroxide gel is applied into the trays, which are then inserted over the teeth and worn for a minimum of two hours. The process is usually repeated a dozen times on average. 

The most generalized answer is yeas however, it is patient specific and dependent on condition of teeth and patient's oral hygiene care
