“Can adult diapers cause UTIs?”
My mother is bed ridden and wears a diaper. Lately, she has been complaining of burning when she urinates, and I am thinking she may have a UTI. Could this be caused by the diaper?

The possible cause is not the diaper, but how long it stays on. A wet diaper can cause yeast infections, as well as bacterial overgrowth. As long as the diaper is changed regularly, UTI’s should not be an issue.
Unfortunately, this is possible. I would advise you to change them as quickly as possible.
