Can anesthesia cause nerve damage?

I am a 38 year old female. I want to know if anesthesia can cause nerve damage?

Yes it can. Depends on what kind of anesthesia and what happened but yes it can
Regional anesthesia, spinal epidural, and blocks could affect peripheral nerves. In case of geta, it's not anesthesia per se. Could be produced due to malposition of the body during procedure or by the procedure itself.
