Can cavities spread from tooth to tooth?

I'm 20 years old and I have one cavity in my mouth now. Is it possible from cavities to spread to other teeth if not treated?

Yes.
Yes, it is possible for the bacteria in the cavity to travel to other teeth. More commonly is to spread to the tooth next to it where the cavity touches the next tooth.
It is not uncommon that if you have a cavity in between the teeth that after a period of time you may find it on the tooth right next to it in between the teeth if not kept clean.
Cavities can be prevented by limiting consumption of carbohydrates to three times daily. Snacking must be on low carbohydrate foods such as nuts, vegetables, eggs, meat, and fish. This does not include potatoes or corn or fruits. During the three main meals, you can eat as much carbohydrates as you want. You also need to brush daily, floss daily, have your teeth professionally cleaned twice a year, and have your teeth checked yearly by a dentist. These habits will prevent cavities. If you don’t do all of this, don’t be surprised when you have a dental problem.
