Yes

By itself, MS should not increase the risk of a more severe infection, although it has not been studied. However, MS patients taking biologic medications (such as Ocrevus, Lemtrada, and others) may have reduced ability to fight off infections. Consult with your doctor if you are taking an immune modifying drug.
