Psychiatrist Questions Anger Management

Can kids go to anger management?

My daughter is 13 years old, and she seems angry all the time. This started after our divorce, so I think it could actually be stemming from that. Should I take her to anger management?

Your daughter may be depressed. Adolescent depression often presents this way.
Yes
Anger in teens can be due to several reasons. Disruption of the family is one of them. Anger issues can be a symptom of depression or another emotional state. Your daughter had to be evaluated first to determine if she needs treatment for depression or anger or other condition. It is impossible to suggest what to do without seeing a person. You need to schedule her for an appointment with a mental health professional.
