Can you drink water after using mouthwash?

I am a 23 year old male. I want to know if you can drink water after using mouthwash?

Usually no problem. The exception is for fluoride rinses. You should not eat or drink for 30 minutes after using a fluoride rinse. For prescription rinses, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
Yes, but it’ll taste weird, rather drink the water before the mouthwash; the only time you would wait is if the mouth rinse is fluoridated or medicated (by prescription) - then you want to wait the appropriate time.
It's better not to drink water until half an hour to an hour after the use of mouthwash.
Sure you can drink water after mouthwash, but best to wait about 30 minutes so as not to dilute the effects of the mouthwash.

Hi,

You certainly can with regular over the counter mouthwash. If you are using a prescription mouthwash, please follow the instructions on the container.
