“Is chronic kidney disease a heriditary disease?”
My mother is a diabetic and has recently developed chronic kidney disease. I have also been diagnosed with diabetes. What are the chances that I will suffer from a kidney disorder too?

Diabetes is the most common illness that causes kidney failure. Every diabetic should get their kidney function checked regularly to prevent progression and make sure your diabetes is well controlled with HbA1c less than 7
