I am a 39 year old male. I want to know if dental implants prevent bone loss?

Yes, they do prevent bone loss in the area they are placed.
They can definitely due to the fact that the bone will be in use and pressure will be placed on the surrounding bone so it won't be resorbed. But we also have to keep in mind that if not properly kept clean, or if the implant fails and develops an infection, bone can be lost surrounding it.
