Nephrologist (Kidney Specialist) Questions blood in urine

Do I need to go to the doctor when there is blood in my urine?

I saw that I have blood in my urine, but I don't have any other symptoms. No abdominal pain, or pain in urination, or itchiness. Do you think I should go to the doctor for this?

Yes, you should see the doctor, since we don't know if this is really blood or a medication, or eating beets. You need to know what is really going on!
Yes.
Yes, You need to get your urine checked at your doctor's clinic. Blood in urine may be a sign of infection, kidney stones or other serious issues. Sometimes, it may be the only sign of something being wrong in absence of other symptoms, e.g., abdominal or bladder pain, painful urination etc. A simple urine test can answer most of these questions.

Sorry, you have to go. Make sure it's not during a menstrual period; if you're in a doctor's office, ask him/her to do a dipstick check since that gives faster results than sending a specimen off to the lab. Depending on your age you may have to have a kidney ultrasound and perhaps a look inside of your bladder, both aimed at finding things in the CURABLE stage.
