Hello,

No, a lip augmentation done properly should not affect your nose shape. For further questions or inquiries, you may visit my website at DrRoya.com as well.
Good luck!
If done properly, a lip lift should not change your nose. Unless both you and your surgeon want your nose to change. But then that would be more than a lip lift, wouldn't it? Talk to your plastic surgeon.
The acute phase of healing takes 1 week. At this stage sutures have already removed ( usually at 4th-5th day -to prevent “rail track” scars). Hardening around suture line takes weeks to months to soften.
If done properly, it shouldn’t change the shape of the nose at all.
Once the swelling dissipates, the nose will return to its previous shape and size. Sometimes it will take two weeks before the nose return to the original size. Numbness of the tip of the nose and lip make take three months to resolve. The lip appearance looks good within a week.
Typically a lip lift does not alter the nose. However, if you extend the excision to go beyond the area directly under the nose, you may see a slight widening of the ala.
A lip lift can be a wonderful procedure if you don't have a lot of upper lip to show. The incision is placed at the base of the nose and often is imperceptible after a few months. Depending on your anatomy, tips support of the nose, and laxity of the upper lip, there is always a very slight chance of a downward pole on the nose. This will be assessed during the consultation.
It can change the shape of your nostrils if the scarring is misplaced or thickened. Approach this procedure with great caution!
