Cardiologist Questions Arrhythmia

Does arrhythmia in childhood affect adulthood?

When I was a kid, my doctor diagnosed me with arrhythmia because my heartbeat was very fast. This happened when I was sick with a fever. My heart rate would be fast at times after, but it was never serious. But now I'm worried about my heart in general as I'm entering adulthood. Will any of this affect how my heart is functioning now?

The heart often races with a temperature and does not mean anything, certainly not heart disease. If you have no symptoms now, then don't worry.
