Babies are usually put to sleep by having them inhale the anesthetic through a mask, after which an IV is started and IV anesthetic administered in order to intubate the baby.
Usually, we make indiction by mask inhalation. If there is an IV, we give drugs IV followed by gases. Usually need endo tracheal entubation.
