Pathologist Questions Fungal Infections

How do you test for fungal infection in blood?

I am 22 years old, and my doctor suggested me to have a blood test for a fungal infection. How do you test for a fungal infection in the blood? What's the process?

Fungal infection in blood your doctor will order a routine blood culture, which includes one anaerobic and one aerobic bottle. The routine blood culture usually recovers aerobic and anerobic bacterial organism as well as Candida spp., Aspergillus spp.’ And sometimes Fusarium spp. Thank you.
You need blood drawn to perform a culture. It is a bad infection to have.
Possibly a fungal culture or a fungal titer. Cultures would be sent to microbiology to see if a fungus grows in the blood. A titer would be tested by a chemistry lab. Would need more details for futher explanations.
