How long do you wait to have coffee after a tooth is extracted?

I am a 37 year old male who needs 2 teeth extracted next week. How long do you wait to have coffee after a tooth is extracted?

You can have coffee after 24-48 hours. Keep the coffee on the warm side, not hot
Dear patient,

Until anesthesia wears off, because you can burn yourself, so a few hours.
It is best to stay away from hot liquids for 24-48 hours. The heat can disrupt the blood clot and cause you pain, in my opinion, not worth it for just coffee. Ask your office that is taking the teeth out as well and follow their recommendations.
It may depend on the surgery. You would probably want to wait 24 hrs
After a tooth extraction, it is recommended to wait 1-2 hours until the anesthesia wears off. While coffee has no harm to the socket, its better to have foods that are lukewarm, and soft for the first few days until the sockets start to close over.
There’s no coffee restrictions after an extraction. You can drink the same day. However, avoid hot coffee since the heat can increase bleeding.
