How long does it take for anesthesia to put you to sleep?

I am a 34 year old female. I want to know how long does it take for anesthesia to put you to sleep?

I'm assuming by this question you mean how long from when the anesthetic drugs are given are you asleep enough for surgery? If this is what you mean then from the time the medicine is injected into your veins, you have about 15-20 seconds before you are adequately anesthetized for a surgical procedure. This is a generalization and truly depends on what drugs are
given to induce anesthesia, as well as factors specific to the patient. If you are a 34-year-old healthy female, then this will most likely apply to you, but if you have significant cardiac disease and decreased cardiac function, then it could take longer for the medicine to circulate to get to the site of action, your brain.
