“How many types of leukemia exist?”
I'm just curious about how many types of leukemia exist today. My cousin was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, of which I never heard of. Do other forms exist? Can you explain them for me?

There are many types of leukemia. There is acute myelogenous leukemia which your cousin has and is the most common acute leukemia in adults. Acute lymphocytic leukemia is the most common in children. There are also other acute leukemias that are much less common. There is chronic myelogenous leukemia and chronic lymphocytic leukemia and again some much less common chronic leukemias
