How often should I clean my CPAP machine?

I am a 25 year old female. I want to know how often should I clean my CPAP machine? I have sleep apnea and need it every night.

There should be directions that come along with your CPAP machine. My usual recommendations are wiping down the mask once or twice a week, cleaning the hose once a week, making sure the filter is clean once a week, and making sure the humidifier chamber is clean once a week. The FDA has not approved any of the cleaning machines for a CPAP machine.
Your sleep doctor should have advised you about regular change of tubing every 3-6 months and new filters monthly plus water change daily and rinsing the tubing and mask every few day’s. These pieces of equipment need to be clean so that the air you breathe is clean!
I would direct you to the manufacturer's website, which has an excellent description and video.

*Daily:*

- Mask cushion
- Air tubing
- Humidifier water tub

*Weekly:*

- Mask frame system
- Mask headgear
- Distilled water should be used in the CPAP machine.
