Is incontinence common with old age?

My grandmother is 70 years old and I noticed that she has been having trouble holding in her urine and goes to the bathroom a lot more frequently. Is incontinence common with old age?

Incontinence is a common problem particularly in older women. First one needs to make sure there is no underlying issue like an infection.
