“How is low hemoglobin levels treated in elderly patients?”
What should be done to treat low hemoglobin levels in elderly patients? My mother's blood test revealed that her hemoglobin levels are lower than normal and I would like to know what we should to help treat it.

She needs a work up to evaluate the type of anemia, and treat accordingly.
