The stress of the procedure could have stimulated fever blisters. Ouch.
Go back and read the instructions your oral surgeon gave you indicating how fast you could have acidic foods and then determine if you've been eating or overdoing Pizza, citric acid things with ketchup or excessive carbonated beverages or if your hygiene has slacked off during the time of pain encumbered from the surgery itself. You can increase with mild mouth rinses although not vigorous as days go by and gradually you should notice an improvement.
They are probably temporary and should disappear in 7-10 days. It is not a complication of surgery.
Your surgeon needs to see the sores. They could be from pressure on you oral tissue or could be a virus. The pressure sores are a side effect of the procedure.
A preexisting virus could have been activated due to the trauma of the procedure.
Hello. It’s possible that you might have inadvertently bit yourself while you were still numb from the surgery.
