Numbness in left hand?

I am a 55 year old female and I am having numbness in my left index, ring, and pinky fingers. I have been having some pain between my shoulder blades, but not shortness of breath, but I really can't tell because I also have asthma. What do I need to do?

Aside from seeing your primary care doctor, you should see a neurologist for a better history, physical, and likely nerve studies, but better determine the exact cause of your symptoms.
Consult a neurologist.
You need to do a test called EMG to see if you have carpal tunnel syndrome, which matches your symptoms.
Please contact your primary care physician and schedule a visit.
