Can osteoporosis have an impact on my ability to conceive?

I am a 24 year old woman and I have been detected with osteoporosis. Since I have acquired this disease young, I am worried if it will impact my ability to conceive and have a child in any way?

You have to find why you have osteoporosis at such a young age. Typically, use of longstanding steroids such as prednisone can cause that. Lack of female hormones can cause that. Also, eating disorders could be the cause (Bulimia, anorexia me today). If none of that is the case, we have to think about Celiac disease (gluten intolerance) or sun Clinical Cushing syndrome. You need to have a work up before even thinking about pregnancy.
No, osteoporosis does not impact ability to conceive. Osteoporosis in such a young age is not common unless patient had been on steroid medication all along for over 10 to 20 years or with other some rare diseases.
In case the diagnosis is confirmed by Bone Density measurements etc, there are few medicines available to take for treatment of osteoporosis.
