Yes, it depends on what the Drs. orders.
A respiratory therapist don’t get the proper credit they deserve, to answer your question, yes of course but choose a clinic or just make sure the respiratory therapist is specialized in pulmonary rehabilitation. A Respiratory Therapist can help there are different therapies that can decrease WOB and they can also offer their opinions to physicians on therapies and medications that are working versus ones that are not. This can decrease medications and therapies that are not beneficial to the patient. I am an RT not an MD.
