Sore throat in the morning?

Every morning, I have a sore throat that eventually goes away. I'm not really experiencing any symptoms, however, apart from this. Is this a normal thing to experience?

It sounds as if it may be your norm. I would suggest that you seek a check up with your physician if it continues to be a bother or inconveinance. Could be simply how your sinus may be draining toward the back of your throat and the position in which you are lying down. In any case, it is safer to seek your physician for evaluation.
Sore throat in the morning that goes away probably indicates that you have reflux at night. You will typically have reflux at night if you go to bed with a full stomach. Try eating your last meal of the day at least three hours before bedtime. That should cut down the reflux. It's a good thing that you don't have heart burn, too.
