Pediatrician Questions Dengue fever

What are the symptoms of dengue in a child?

My daughter came back from school sniffing her nose. Within about 3 hours she had extremely high fever. The doctor suggested Crocin and Meftal P for the next two days. I am worried it could be Dengue. What are its symptoms? Is this really possible?
