Family Practitioner Questions Headaches

What can I do to treat my frequent headaches?

I suffer from very frequent headaches, particularly when I wear my glasses. I told my doctor about it, and I was able to get new glasses, however, I still get these headaches. What could be the cause of them, and how can I treat them?

There are many causes of headaches. If you are suffering from frequent headaches and they are getting worse each time, then I would recommend you see a neurologist, so that he/she can attempt to rule out emergent causes. In your case, it is very important to determine if the headaches are due to a vision-related problem or not.
This is a broad term. Headaches can be caused by various things such as uncontrolled BP, BS, etc. Problems in the brain can also cause headaches and then there are referred headaches, too.
Poor fitting glasses can cause headaches. Try contact lens to see if the headaches go away. Other causes include glaucoma brain tumours, nasal congestions.
