There are many, many potential causes. A pediatric GI doc would be best to address this question.
There are multiple causes and vary with age of the child. Sometimes lactose intolerance can cause diarrhea gas and stomach pain associated with diary intake. Acidity foods or sodas and cause gastritis or reflux which can cause upper abdominal pain. UTI can cause lower abdominal pain and dysuria. Kidney stones can cause severe abdominal pain. Trapped gas can cause cramping. Irritable bowel disease can cause abdominal pain after food intake. There are many causes. If pain is severe vomiting or weight loss he will need to be checked.
