Pus and fluid are released by the popping cause the infection to spread out in the mouth and any vulnerable area can be infected forming more boils. Attempting to pop and abscess in the month on you own is not recommended. Visit your dentist immediately. There is a specific procedure to be follow for not to infringe damage to your healthy tissue in the mouth. I recommend for you to go to the dentist. Thank you.
When you pop it, all the pus/infection will drain into your mouth. It also can increase a risk of infection spreading. A gum boil is a sign of severe tooth infection and this have to be treated by a dentist. It is recommended to seek in-person dental advice and examination.

A gum boil (parulis) is the effect of an infection; Popping it only allows the infection causing the problem to drain. The source of the infection should be determined and treated.
It and your whole mouth could get infected. Leave it alone. Best bet, go to dentist for treatment.
