What is the difference between full upper dentures vs implants?

My dentist was telling me I had the option between these two. What is the difference between full upper dentures versus implants?

Dentures can come out or move around while you eat, laugh, sneeze or yawn. Implants are anchored into your bone and they cannot come out they are like permanent replacement of you natural teeth.
Full upper denture is a removable plastic teeth prosthesis that covers your full roof of the mouth. Implants provide a stabilization that can reduce the amount of plastic in your mouth. If you have a good bone quality, fixed bridge can be fabricated over implants.
Full dentures are removable, and implants are used to permanently attach the teeth or dentures in order for them to not be removed
