The fastest way is by putting warm compresses in the affected area. Also, peppermint tea can soothe the pain and magnesium supplement to help empty your gallbladder. Thank you.
Surgical removal
Probably the fastest way would be to remove the gallbladder. However at such a young age, controlling diet and possibly lithotripsy (breaking up stones; if he has them) would be more prudent and less invasive.

I would be careful about attributing the gallbladder to explain pain in a 16 yr old. Are there gallstones present? If not, then even less reason to suspect gallbladder pain. Young people rarely have gallstones unless they are obese. Your son needs proper work up by a gastroenterologist. Gallbladder pain can only be treated by surgery to remove the gallbladder, but this should only be done in clear-cut cases. Make sure a proper work up has been done by a good GI doc.
