I am a 31 year old male. I want to know what is the most common cause of sepsis?

Untreated bacterial infections can progress to sepsis. Sepsis is not a specific disease but a spectrum of symptoms cause by a bacterial infections. Common causes are pneumonia, urinary infection, cellulitis, bowel infections, etc.
